BSA Cross Disciplinary Class 16
BSA Cross Disciplinary Hi! Today we started by going over meeting agendas and then how to communicate via Teams. We then started fleshing out our idea. Our current idea is a bunch of smaller activites to educate about Matariki, 9 ideas for 9 stars. I was placed in the marketing team. amazing race/ scavenger hunt Death- candle dipping- people tell story Rain- Projection of stars story on water- animated? Parents- writing a letter to family member on note and hanging up - written story? Promise- Planting a seed or making a pot for a plant- Wind- Make kites or purerehua, little noise makers Ground- planting, chalk outside, or clay? Paint rocks, digging out of sand, stars fell out of sky? Food Ground- potato people, potato stamp mural, Food Sky- origami birds, egg drop, Food Sea- magnet fish, fishing game, fake fish bags We need to come up with a name for the event and basic marketing.
BSA Cross Disciplinary Class 15
BSA Cross Disciplinary Hi! Today we had a guest speaker come in to disscuss Maori culture. He started off by debunking common myths about Maori culture, and then disscussed some of our ideas for our event. His opinions on art were really interesting and he basically said that as long as you educate yourself, and have good intentions, then you should do whatever you want and be as creative as you can, as there will always be people offended by what you do. I think this idea was very freeing but I think that even with good intentions, if you do not educate yourself, and speak over those of the actual culture, you can be harmful to the community. We then got into groups and brainstormed some more ideas which the teams all combined at the end.

BSA 3D Hi! Today we are modeling heads. We started by making what appears to be a mask of the face shape. We then adjusted it to the face more
BSA Drawing Class 8
BSA Drawing Hi! Today we did live drawing. We started with a regular warm up drawing. We then did an excersize where we would switch drawing every couple minutes. This was fun since I got to practice shading more, but also difficult since my pencil didn't really show up against the charcoal. We then did some blind drawing. We then finished it off with some regular drawing.

BSA 3D Hi! Today I am continuing modeling my character. I started by rounding out my sweater and starting on the leg. 3
BSA Audio Class 7
BSA Audio Hi! I finished up my soundscape. I had a lot of fun making it, and I think it came out quite good. I wish I could have played around more with reverb and such but I didn't really know how to use it. I did manage to figure out pitchshifting and had no trouble exporting though. Most of my editing was just moving the volume and fading in it. Overall I am actually pretty happy with my first time editing.
