BSA 3D Class 1

 Hi!

Today was our first class of the year. We started by looking at the timetable for the year. It sounds like we will have a lot of time this year to work on our project, which makes me excited to get to work on it as we will have time to make something really good. 

We then started watching some student work. We didn't get to see very many so I couldn't get a very good idea of what we could make.

We then started playing around with maya. We got in the basic shapes and learned how to animate it. The animation was confusing to work but I got the basics. We then tried to play around with sculpting but the tools didn't work very well and were either too extreme and uncontrollable or did nothing. After some help it got easier but was still very difficult.

I already have a few ideas for projects I can do as well as inspirations. I want to flesh out my idea more at home tonight and look into some more inspirations for style.
